What to name our new male black standard poodle puppy?

We are picking up puppy on Saturday and we are trying to find think of some nice names for him as the breeder doesn't name them anything but "puppy" so it's completely up to us. Can anyone help me with neat names?

Reply:I used to have 2 Standard Poodles. They were females, and we named them Dee Dee and Fancy. A male Standard could be named Guy, Bud, Stud ;), or Ralph.

Right now, I have a cat and dog who are both girls and they have goddess names - Chantico (named years before Starbucks named a drink that) and Shala. I like to give them names that aren't so common that we'll run into two or three of them at the dog park. (we've got 3 brandy's and 2 rusty's on our street!)

I once knew a gorgeous black standard poodle named D'Artagnan (from the Three Musketeers) / Dart for short and that name just suited him so perfectly.
