What is a good name for a male Yellow Lab?

I'm going to use him for hunting and will probably run him through hunting trials. He's a little darker than most yellow labs you see.

What is a good name for a male Yellow Lab?
If he is going to be a working dog then something short is best. Here's a few ideas off the top of my head - Toby, Ben, Sandy, Gibson, Sammy, Jake.

Reply:If you are going to run him pick a one syllable word that is very clear, and does not sound like any command. Like "Mo" which sounds to much like "NO"


This is because you will be using the dogs call name as a command to send the dog for a maked retrieve.





I use "Meg" for the Lab that I am running now.
