Is pebbles a good name for a male hamster and Rebel for a female?

I'm getting hamsters somtime this week i have sorted everything out but the names. HELP!

Is pebbles a good name for a male hamster and Rebel for a female?
It'd switch them around. Rebel for male and Pebbles for female. Pebbles seems more "ladylike" than Rebel, and, of course, males are always rebellious ^-^
