I am 5 months pregnant, with a boy. i am trying to figure out a name that has the most possible nicknames... i want to choose a name for him, but when he gets olde,r he can decide what he wants to be known as. i was thinking William.. will, bill, billy. i just want him to have as many possibilitues as possible.

Reply:Stick with William. When I doing my early childhood education co-op I worked with two boys (ages 3 and 4 named William.) I now work in a child care center with a two year old name William. I must admit each one is a blessing. William is a strong sounding name. Another nickname can be Liam (the last four letters of William, it's different from any of the others.)
