Reply:You may already know this but this breed is not Australian at all and is believed to have roots in the Basque country, next to Spain. They were used mainly for sheep herding and used by Australians here, which is how they got this name.

Reply:Look for personality waite a few days to see how dog acts. That's always helpful. I have 3 full sized Australian Shepherds. Lots of fun and easy to teach. Just what ever you like really. I have two males one female. The 1st one I named Jasper, he has white blue eyes.


The puppy I named Bandit cause he looks like he's wearing a mask.
