names I choose for a pyrenees that came to the shelter but we ended up with Keno... my names got voted out... we have a democracy here.

Reply:Oh, what a gorgeous breed! I'd just call him Bear, because that's what they remind me of. (Or you could go opposite of his size and call him Pee Wee!) Whatever name you decide on....something will come up that will be "just right".... you're going to just love him. (My friend had TWO of them and it was so funny to see them in her little car!) Reply:I had a pup that smelled like coffee beans when he was a pup so his name became Java. One that looked like a little bear cub so his name became Grizzly. I'm thinking your Great Pyrenees looks a lot like a Polar bear cub so Polar might be a thought. Or something that states your dogs personality like Sweetie if it's a female. You've gotten some good suggestions and I'm sure you'll find the one that fits.

Reply:I named my female pyr Shiple. I like strong names for male Pyrs. They are beautiful, white, majestic giants! I tend to think of grand mountain scapes, so maybe you could look up some names of snow capped mountains... like Everest... LOL! But seriously, when I think pyr, I think snow capped mountains, so you might find a good name in that direction.
