Is Clarice considered a male or a female name?

Reply:Definitely a girl. Clarice was a character in Silence of the Lambs. Clarence is a boys name.... my cat was named Clarence. And my mom had a customer named Clarence.
Reply:Agree with the Clarice Starling reference, whenever I hear "Clarice", I hear it in Anthony Hopkins' voice-- creepy!!





Clarence would be a similar male name.
