Who names hurricane one time male name and female name for the next one?
It was set up that way a few decades ago. They have lists that they rotate each year. It's always set in advance what that year's names will be. If a storm is really bad, that name is retired from the list and not used again.
Reply:because before they were called only female names. this way make it less sexist.
