Is the name traditionally supposed to begin with 'Sir....'?

What is the best name for a male Great Dane?
After seeing the movie GLADIATOR with Russell Crowe I always wanted a Black or smokey colored Great Dane to call MAXIMUS!


but I don't have a big anough yard so I won't get one :)

it doesn't HAVE to begin with Sir, I've never met a Great Dane with "sir" in its name
Reply:It doesn't really matter. I suppose traditional any male dog could have 'sir' in front of it's name but, it isn't really set in stone.


Some names could be: Tiny, Shrimp, Sir Lancealot, etc..

Reply:Depends on the color. If it was gray I would name it Ash, is it was black I would name it Coal, if it was brown I would name it Coco, if it was sweet I would name it Angel or Sugar............
